As you progress through the game, you will encounter different obstacles. You have to be careful and avoid them. Some of them are movable, while others are not. The former will allow you to move forward, while the latter will force you to go back.
If you get stuck in a particular level, you can always try to drive through it. You can do so by pressing the forward button on the right side of the screen.
